Do you deliver?

Absolutely! We use Express Australia Post and a selection of couriers to deliver all over Australia. We recommend getting in touch if you need your delivery on a certain date/time and we'll let you know the best options available.

Please note, the flat rate fee of $15 express shipping applies to the delivery of one gift box. If you opt to send more than one gift box to the same address, additional charges will apply.

Please allow 1-2 working days for your order to be made fresh, packaged and posted. A tracking notification will be automatically sent when your order is on it's way out for delivery.

As express post can still take up to 2 days to deliver in some areas, we choose not to send orders on Thursday and Fridays to ensure no orders are left in transit or in postal warehouses over the weekend.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver Australia-wide to both business and residential addresses, as well as PO boxes. We don't deliver internationally.

If your delivery address requires special access, such a a gate code, please include this in the notes section at checkout.

Do you deliver to Hospitals or Schools?

Yes we do. If you have a delivery for a non-residential address such as a hospital or school please provide as much detail as possible to make the delivery clear and simple for the posties/couriers.

Please also be aware that for many hospitals, deliveries cannot be made directly to reception and will be re-routed to a postal depot for collection from the hospital courier. This may help to explain any additional stops listed on your tracking number.

What days do you send deliveries?

We send deliveries Monday-Wednesday inclusive via overnight Express Post .

No deliveries are sent on Thursdays and Fridays as we want to avoid our freshly made products sitting in a postal depot over the weekend.

All orders include a tracking number sent to the purchaser's email address provided at checkout.

How long after my purchase will be order be sent out?

As a guide, this is the shipping process we follow, however, please note any designated Queensland public holidays may alter this:

  • Orders placed after 9am Wednesday through to 9am Monday will be shipped Monday/Tuesday.
  • Orders placed after 9am Monday will be shipped Tuesday/Wednesday.
  • Orders placed after 9am Tuesday up to 9am Wednesday will be shipped Wednesday. 

You can place your now for a future shipping date - just leave your preferred shipping date in the notes section at checkout, along with your gift message to the person receiving the gift box, and we will schedule your order for dispatch on your selected date.

Can I add a note to my order?

Absolutely - please do! In the notes section at checkout you can leave a message for your recipient - don't forget to include who it's from! You will also find some custom greeting cards which can also be added to your order for a more personalised touch.

Do you do large/custom orders?

We are happy to discuss your requirements if you live locally (North Brisbane/Moreton Bay region). Please contact us with your specific needs.

Unfortunately we don't have the capacity at this stage to ship large or custom orders via post to other parts of Australia.

Do you offer wholesale?

Unfortunately we don't offer wholesale orders at this stage.

Do you offer vegan/dairy free/gluten friendly options?

Unfortunately we currently don't offer gluten free, dairy free or vegan options. As we have recently taken over Baked by the Bay, we are still establishing and refining our product range.

We do have plans to add gluten free products to our store in the future. Any updates to our product range will be announced via our Instagram page and to our subscribers via email.

What is our return/refund policy?

Due to the nature of products being perishable, we do not accept returns. If there is any issue or concern with your order please get in contact with us as soon as possible and we will do everything possible to rectify the issue or replace the goods.

Does the Baked by the Bay kitchen contain allergens?

Our cookies and brownies are all made in the same council approved kitchen facility which uses products containing gluten, tree nuts, honey, eggs, soy and dairy. Unfortunately, we cannot cater to those who have strict allergen requirements.

How do I store or reheat my treats?

STORING:

Room temperature: Brownies & Chunky Cookies  - store in an airtight container for up to 7 days

Fridge: Brownies & Chunky Cookies - store in airtight container for up to 3 weeks

Freezer: Brownies & Chunky Cookies - store in an airtight container for up to 3 months

HEATING:

Brownies & Chunky Cookies are delicious at both room temperature and heated.

If you like to indulge in your treats with some warmth and added "fudgey-ness" or "gooey-centeredness" we suggest heating in the microwave for 15-30 seconds.

If frozen, we suggest microwaving in 20 second intervals and testing, alternatively you can bake your Chunky Cookies in a 150 degrees Celsius oven for 12-14 minutes.
